AN ACT TO AMEND THE COMMON AMENITIES BOARD LAW , No. 10 of 1973.

Be it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as follows:-
|

Short title.
|
1. This Act may be cited as the Common Amenities Board (Amendment) Act, No. 46 of 1982.
|
|
Amendment of section 6 of Law No. 10 of 1973.
|
2. Section 6 of the Common Amenities Board Law, No. 10 of 1973, is hereby amended as follows :
|
(i) by the insertion, immediately after paragraph (a) thereof, of the following paragraph:
|
" (aa) to receive donations and bequests from any source, whether local or foreign ;" and
|
|
|
(ii) by the insertion, immediately after paragraph (g) thereof, of the following paragraph:
|
"(gg) to undertake construction work on behalf of the State or any local authority;"
