AN ACT TO AMEND THE NATIONAL HEALTH DEVELOPMENT FUND ACT, NO. 13 OF 1981

BE it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as follows : -
|

Short title.
|
1. This Act may be cited as the National Health Development Fund (Amendment) Act, No. 17 of 1984.
|
|
Amendment of section 5 of Act No 17 of 1981.
|
2. Section 5 of the National Health Development Fund Act, No. 13 of 1981, is hereby amended by the insertion immediately after paragraph (b) of that section of the following paragraph:
|
" (bb) with the concurrence of the Minister borrow by way of loan or otherwise from any bank or lending institution, such sums of money for the purposes specified in section 7 subject to the condition that the total amount of such borrowing shall not exceed the aggregate of its assets in fixed deposit;".
