AN ACT TO AMEND THS JUDICATURE (AMENDMENT) ACT, No. 16 OF 1989.

BE it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as follows: "

Short title.
|
1.This Act may be cited as the Judicature (Amendment) Act, No. 16 of 1989 (Amendment) Act, No. 30 of 1991.
|

Amendment of section 1 of Act No.16 of 1989.
|
2,Section 1 of the Judicature (Amendment) Act, No. 16 of 1989, is hereby amended by the substitution for the words " Order published In the Gazette ", of the following words " Order published in the Gazette. Different dates may be appointed in respect of different provisions of this Act. ".

Sinhala text to prevail in case of inconsistency.
|
3. In the event of any inconsistency between the Sinhala and Tamil texts of this Act, the Sinhala text shall prevail.
