Births and Deaths Registration (Amendment) Law
A LAW TO AMEND THE BIRTHS AND DEATHS REGISTRATION ACT.

BE it enacted by the National State Assembly of the Republic of Sri ‘Lanka as follows:

Short title.
|
1.This Law may be cited as the Births and Deaths Registration, (Amendment) Law, No. 40 of 1975.
|
|
Amendment of section 70 of Chapter 110.
|
2. Section 70 of the Births and Deaths Registration Act is hereby amended in the definition of
|
|
” estate ” by the substitution, for the expression
|
|
“estates medical district; “, of the expression
|
|
“estates medical district, other than any such district or part of such district as may be excluded by the Minister by Order published in the Gazette;”.
