CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES LAW No. 5 OF 1972.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by Sections 2(2) and 2 (4) of the Co-operative Societies Law, No. 5 of 1972, read with Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Acts, No. 32 of 1983, No. 11 of 1992 and the Provincial Council (Consequential Provisions) Act, No. 12 of 1989, I, Muthukaruppan Suppiah, Minister of Food, Co-operatives, Power and Energy, Tourism and Fisheries and Hindu Cultural Affairs, Uva Province, do by this order delegate on the persons appointed to assist the Commissioner of Co-operative Development and Registrar of Co-operative Societies during their tenure of Office as Divisional Secretaries in the Uva Province specified in column I of the Schedule hereto, from the date specified in column II, all powers vested in a Registrar under the Co-operative Societies Law, No. 5 of 1972 read with Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Acts, No. 32 of 1983, No. 11 of 1992, rules made there under and the Provincial Council (Consequential Provisions) Act, No. 12 of 1989, as specified in the column III of the said schedule in respect of the Uva Province.
