AN ACT TO AMEND THE COCONUT DEVELOPMENT ACT, No. 46 OF 1971

BE it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as follows:

Short title.
|
1. This Act may be cited as the Coconut Development (Amendment) Act. No. 40 of 1987.
|
|
Amendment of section 26 of Act No. 46 of 1971
|
2. Section 26 of the, Coconut Development Act, No. 46 of 1971 (hereinafter referred to as the principal enactment “) is hereby amended in subsection (1) of that section, by the substitution for the words” five members “, of the words” nine members “.

Amendment of section 27 of the principal enactment.
|
3. Section 27 of the principal enactment is hereby amended by the substitution for the word” three” of the word five.
