Explosives (Amendment) Law A LAW TO AMEND THE EXPLOSIVES ACT. BE it enacted by the National State Assembly of the Republic of Sri Lanka as follows: – Short title. 1. This Law may be cited as the Explosives (Amendment) Law, No. 36 of 1977. Amendment of section 37 of the Explosives Act (Chapter 183). 2. The Explosives Act (as amended by Act No. 33 of 1969) is hereby amended in section 37, by the substitution, for the definition of ” Government Analyst “, of the following new definition: – ‘ ” Government Analyst ” includes the Additional Government Analyst, the Deputy Government Analyst and an Assistant Government Analyst;’.
