AN ACT TO AMEND THE MORTGAGE ACT.

BE it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as follows:

Short title.
|
1. This Act may be cited as the Mortgage (Amendment) Act, No. 27 of 1987.
|
|
Amendment of section 114 of Chapter 89.
|
2. Section 114 of the Mortgage Act is hereby amended in subsection (5) of that section by the substitution for the words” (not exceeding fifty rupees for each sitting) “, of the words” (not exceeding one hundred and fifty rupees for each sitting) “.
