I, Ratnayake Mudiyanselage Ranta Nimal Bandara, Minister for Agriculture, Food and Co-operatives of the North Western Provincial Council, by virtue of powers vested in me by Section 2 (2) of the Co-operative Societies Act, No. 5 of 1972 as amended by Co-operative
(Amendement)Act,No.32of 1983, read with Provincial Councils (Consequential Provisions) Act, No. 12of 1989, hereby confer the powers
mentioned in Column III of the Schedule below which are the powers of a Registrar under Co-operative Societies Act, No. 5 of 1972 and
the rules made thereunder read with Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Act, No. 32 of 1983 to the persons mentioned in Column I, who
have been appointed to assist the Commissioner for Co-operative Development from the date mentioned in Column II thereof.
