AN ACT TO AMEND THE PRADESHIYA SABHAS ACT, NO. 15 OF 1987

BE it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as follows:
|

Short title.
|
1. This Act may be cited as the Pradeshiya Sabhas (Amendment) Act, No. 34 of 1993.
|
|
Amendment of section 132 of Act No. 15 of 1987.
|
2. Section 132 of the Pradeshiya Sabhas Act, No. 15 of 1987, is hereby amended by the insertion, immediately after paragraph (n) of that section, of the following new paragraph :
|
” (nn) all expenses incurred by the Pradeshiya Sabha in the installation and maintenance, of official telephone facilities at the residences of the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman ; “.

Sinhala text to prevail in case of inconsistency.
|
3. In the event of any inconsistency between the Sinhala and Tamil texts of this Act, the Sinhala text shall prevail,
