AN ACT TO AMEND THE S. W. R. D. BANDARANAIKE NATIONAL MEMORIAL FOUNDATION LAW, NO. 2 OF 1975.

BE it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as follows :

Short title.
|
1. This Act may be cited as the S. W. R. D. Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation (Amendment) Act, No. 6 of 1983.
|
|
Amendment of section 14 of Law, No. 2 of 1975
|
2. Section 14 of the S. W. R. D. Bandaranaike National Memorial Foundation Law, No. 2 of 1975, is hereby amended by the repeal of subsection (3) of that section and the substitution therefor, of the following subsection:
|
” (3) The Foundation shall be exempt from the payment of any rates, taxes, duties, fees and other charges under the Municipal Councils Ordinance or the Development Councils Act, No. 35 of 1980.”.
